To support the launch of Chanel’s new fragrance Chance, the brand took to Instagram to establish a fun, visual link between life chances and astrological signs.

Consumers, particularly in Asia, refer to horoscopes to predict their next steps. Leveraging this insight, Chanel created twelve animated gifs – one for each sign of the Zodiac – to engage its fans and drive awareness of its new collection. For Chanel, this was an especially unique execution in that it was exclusively developed for Instagram to align with the channel’s visual appeal and the stopping power of gifs.
