From their anti bullying PSA, to their cheeky Halloween jab at McDonald’s, to shaving off the King’s iconic moustache, Burger King has has a year full of over-the-top and thought provoking stunts. However, before the year wraps up, they have added one more conversation starter to their list.
Sullyvan K. is perhaps Burger King France’s most dedicated fan. With 637 comments on the brand’s Facebook page he far outranks any other consumer’s enthusiasm for the fast food joint. To say thanks and spread some holiday cheer, BK France wrapped up (with over 1km of material) Sullyvan’s local store and presented it to him as a holiday gift. When Sullyvan unwrapped it he found a permanent sign attached to the front: “Home of Sullyvan K” and his very own reserved parking spot. His gift also came with a dedicated table inside, a gold tray,
personalized Whopper wrapping, his own napkin dispensers, and a year’s worth of free meals.
After the activation, BK decided to keep the holiday cheer going. The fan with the most comments on Sullyvan’s video will also receive a year’s worth of meals. In a little over 24 hours, the video has already received over 96,000 comments. Burger King will need to continue with this momentum into the new year if they hope to take home a top prize at Cannes once more.
