Tribeca Film Festival’s new interactive campaign is taking street New Yorkers inside films and challenging them to see how well they can react.
This machine, called “ReActor”, made by J. Walter Thompson, has voice and facial recognition technology with motion sensors and the machine records people acting out scenes from famous movies. The machine will not only let fans share their awesome re-enactments on Youtube, but if they manage to get a high enough score, they’ll be invited to the Tribeca Film Festival (April 13-24).
ReActor will travel around New York City starting this week in major spots and theaters to celebrate its 15th anniversary and to show New Yorkers what Tribeca is all about: leading interactive storytelling in the film industry. Quite an exciting and inventive execution for the film company!
