Partnering with Pinterest, JCPenney is building digital Pinterest boards at 10 shopping malls around the country to showcase the company’s apparel, beauty and hair inspiration products for Mother’s Day.
According to the company, “Pinterest is really a destination for our consumer, this modern American mom looking for head-to-toe looks.” Pinterest insights showed JCPenney shoppers pin things like parenting and saving money. Therefore, this integrated campaign works to target these shoppers to help them save time, energy and money in inspiring and helpful ways. The Pinterest boards will appear in stores April 23, 24, 30 and May 1st. Heading into Mother’s Day, JCPenney has created a unique and fun digital/social experience that will be sure to catch the attention of mall-shoppers.
