DD Perks members in select markets will be able to skip the line by ordering through the brand’s “Dunkin’ VIP” app.
Dunkin’ Donuts realized their customers often skipped ordering food when picking up their coffees when they saw long lines. To keep customers happy and increase purchase, the brand is testing an on-the-go ordering system that allows consumers to place and pay for their orders from their mobile phones.
Consumers can select and order their items in the DD VIP app up to 24 hours in advance. When they arrive, they will check in via the app and tap “Ready to Pick Up” where they can walk in and get their order from a designated area or the drive-thru. The app also provides the option for users to save their favorite orders for a quick and seamless way to grab their go-to.
