Throughout the summer, Cointreau has been celebrating its Summer Soiree promotion by giving away $50 gift cards every Monday to ten lucky fans.
To enter, fans must submit an Instagram photo showing how they celebrate Cointreau at home and tag the photo #CointreauSummer. This promotion has coincided with The Art of La Soirée Tour 2016, where Cointreau partnered with bloggers and designers to host soirées in Chicago and Los Angeles. These soirées were well attended and well documented on their social media channels, and supported the brands summer theme to “elevate the art of entertaining.”
Using social giveaways to support a larger campaign and events is a great idea. Sometimes social media and experiential events can seem very disconnected – with two different agencies handling separately, but Cointreau has done a great job of keeping brand consistency through all channels and brand experiences.
