JVC “Catch the Joker”

JVC targeted Batman fans with an integrated promotion for the DVD and Blu-ray release of “The Dark Knight.” In conjunction with an online “Catch the Joker” sweepstakes, JVC revealed a keyword on their jumbo HD billboard in Time Square, which allowed consumers to text to enter for a chance to win a JVC home theater, a camcorder or a DVD of the film. Consumers who opted-in also received follow up texts from the Joker, which collected demographical data for future JVC marketing efforts.
